Sherman County Flag Contest Winner
The First Place Entry of the Sherman County Flag Art Contest was submitted by Taylor Griffith.
Taylor’s description of her artwork states:
The train is for Rockville which was founded because of the Union Pacific railroad.
The flagpole is from main street of Hazard.
The covered wagon is for Litchfield, who celebrates Old Settler’s Day.
Ashton’s water tower.
The Polish Eagle is for Loup City, the county seat.
Taylor drew the scenery from a picture taken of Sherman Reservoir.
